Snow Day! Whoo Hoo!

We had a ton of snow at the farm this time! Ben didn't have to go in to work on Friday so we had a nice, relaxing day to watch the snow fall. Caroline and I took a ride on the four wheeler and tried to make a snowman but the snow was too soft. We had a warm fire all day and roast and potatoes for dinner. After the kids were in bed Ben and I watched my favorite show, Alias and just relaxed in front of the fire. Here is Caroline in her snow clothes on Friday.

She wore my snow skiing goggles outside so the snow wouldn't get in her eyes.
It snowed hard all day on Friday. This is what it looked like on Saturday!

Ben took Caroline out that day to play in the snow.
They started by pulling Caroline on the sled behind the four wheeler. It didn't take too long before she was whining about her hands being too cold. She's not exactly cut out for the cold.......or the hot, or the rain, or the sun, or the dark. Well, she's kind of a drama queen.

After the ride they decided to try to make a snowman again. They did pretty good.

Caroline putting on the arms.....
The finished product!

Later that night we made snow ice cream. Caroline was amazed at that whole deal until she took the first bite and said she wanted "real" ice cream instead.

Late Christmas Pics

These are some pictures of our Christmas with the Trotter family in Memphis. Ben's dad sent us the ones he took and I wanted to post a few of them.
This is the bed and breakfast that we all stayed in. It's really fun there, beautiful rooms, a billiard room, and cute little guest house with pond.

This is Caroline's Auntie Megan. They have loads of fun together! Isn't she cute?!

Imaginary Mimi

Caroline loves it when her Nana or Mimi comes to visit. She always gets very excited to see them! Two weeks ago we made the mistake of telling Caroline that her Mimi might come to visit the following weekend. After telling her this the plans sort of fell through and it was going to be a least three or four weeks before Mimi was going to be able to come visit. Caroline was very sad. Later that night we were watching her play and realized that she was pretending that Mimi was her playing her. For a whole week this imaginary Mimi went everywhere with her, to school, to Walmart, to the bathroom. "Imaginary Mimi ate supper with us, took baths with us, and slept with is! It was so funny! She would walk around, pretending she was holding Mimi's hand. So, after we called Mimi and told her this she couldn't stand it. She canceled her plans and drove down for the weekend so that Caroline could play with the real Mimi! We still didn't tell her that Mimi was coming and went to eat in Greenbrier Friday evening. She asked why we had ordered four drinks on the table. We told her that we might have some friends coming to join us. When Mimi and aunt Beka came through the doors she looked so confused! She didn't know what was going on. Her face was hilarious! You just see her little head trying to figure this out. Then she didn't stop smiling during the entire meal!

Mimi brought some things for Valentines Day since she wouldn't see the kids again before then. The little puppy that Graham is holding is from her. He actually feel asleep hugging it! So cute!

Caroline is making glitter Valentines with Aunt Beka.

This video didn't come out very good but I wanted to put it on here. When you hold Graham up on his feet he acts likes he is walking. He actually puts one foot in front of the other! He can't wait to start getting around! He is a very active baby!

A week at the Phelan's

We went to Rogers a couple of weeks ago to keep my cousins, Matthew and Natalie. We stayed for a whole week! We really enjoyed our time with them. I certainly miss the kids since they have moved away. Caroline loves visiting Aunt Christie's house and watching Spongebob in the theater room. Or maybe she just likes eating from popcorn machine! Graham was an angel the whole time! Natalie was a big help with him. He really liked her! And Matthew entertained Caroline most of the time also. They played games and watched lots of cartoons!

Graham liked to play on this soft rug in the bedroom. I thought these pictures were cute!
