Graham can be pretty shy and seems to scare easily so we decided that along with the Branson trip we would just have a small party at home on his actual birthday. My friend Megan brought her kids over to play and Alex and Emily stopped by. It was pretty low key, which was just fine for Graham this year.
This is a very long post because of the amount of pictures I took......sorry!
Graham turned one today! I can't believe it. This past year has gone by so fast. Graham is my sweet little baby and now he is one. The whole day was incredibly busy so I didn't really have time to think about it. After I put him bed I did get a little teary eyed. Graham is one now...
We all stayed home today. The kids woke up and played in the living room while I worked on some house chores. Aren't they cute in their feety pajamas?
Benjamin took care of the kids while I got things ready for Graham's birthday.
Now we are ready for the party! I put up a few decorations and make a big pot of chili to feed everyone. I got a cute little smash cake from Ed's Bakery and made chocolate cupcakes for the kids to decorate.
Graham eating his hot dog.....
Isn't he just too cute?!
We went outside to let Caroline and Jack decorate the cupcakes.
Graham is looking at the horses. He calls them a "giggy", which means kitty. He loves to look out the window at Little Kitty and say this. Now that is what he calls every animal. Out of the fun, loud, crazy toys he got for his birthday his favorite is a soft Noah's Ark that has little stuffed animals with it that he hug and call Giggy.
This is how Graham reacted when the new toy had batteries put in and made lots loud noise. He scares pretty easy these days!
Here is Graham's smash cake.
He started slow at first.....
But it didn't take him long to figure it out!
Graham is sharing with uncle Alex.
Then we had to take the cake away before he made himself sick......
Needless to say.....he was NOT happy.
Needless to say.....he was NOT happy.
We got him into the bath and he was happy once again!
