Merry Christmas Everyone!
Here is Caroline at her school's Christmas party. She insisted on dressing like a Christmas fairy, of course. I think she had a really good time. They had a gift exchange, games, and lots of goodies. Caroline was a little sad to say goodbye to her teachers during the break.
I went into a major cleaning mode on Christmas Eve. I just barely got everything done in time! Graham wanted to help me sweep the floors so went and found Caroline's little broom and dustpan and got the crumbs under his chair.
This year we had company at the farm for the holidays. Mom, Charles, Alex, and Charlie got to our house in time for dinner on Christmas Eve. A little later Christie, David, Matthew, and Natalie showed up.
The kids got to open one present on Christmas Eve. I let them open their Zhu Zhu Pets. Caroline had a purple princess one and Graham had one with a mohawk. That's what they are playing with in these next photos.
Here is Caroline's Santa pile. She got new bedding, a book, travel pillow, two disney movies, and her favorite, a real popcorn machine!
This is Graham's Santa pile. He got an animal farm, a toolbench, a book, and two disney movies.
All the stockings are hanging neatly in a row.....
These are the stocking that my grandmother made everyone.
These are the stocking that my grandmother made everyone.
Seeing these made me a little sad....
Ok, you can't really tell what Caroline and Nana are looking at out the window. It's a swing set! They got Caroline and Graham a swing set for Christmas! Mom was showing it Caroline for the first time here.
Caroline and her popcorn machine.....
Mom and Charles brought my piano up! The men got it into the house and in place as soon as we were done done with presents. This piano is the same one that I learned on at my grandmother's house when I was little. It is very sentimental to me. I can't wait to get Caroline in lessons!
When we got back home the kids were ready to put together all the new toys!
The Phelans stayed at the farm for a few days after Christmas. Caroline loves playing with Matthew and Natalie! She was so sad when they had to go home. Below is a picture of the kids at Short Smalls when we went for lunch.
We had to switch seats because Caroline wanted to sit beside Natalie. Caroline wants to be just like her! When I have bought clothes for Caroline and she doesn't want to wear them I simply say that Natalie has an outfit like that and Caroline won't ever complain about it again! It's really funny! I'm glad she has such sweet cousins to model.
