The "Big" Snow

This is Graham when he woke up and saw all the snow outside! It was hilarious!

Here are the kids trying to pass the time.

I am a little tired of all the same old snow pictures but I had to post some. I have never seen this much snow in Arkansas. It was so pretty at the farm.

This is the driveway.

We waited a day to get out in the snow. It was still snowing that first day and the kids don't like the snow in their faces when riding and sledding. When we finally got to play they had a great time.


Ben sent me on a mission to buy a sled this time. I went to Ace Hardware the day before the big snow. They said they were getting a shipment in at 2:00. I got there just a little after and there were people everywhere looking for those silly sleds. We finally got one....there were only three left! I ended up and got one for both kids. Graham is too little now but I figured he would want his own at some point. Caroline had a great time on her sled. I even rode it with her while Ben and Graham pulled us behind the four wheeler.







We were house-bound for three days. I think that is about the extent of time it takes for us all to drive each other crazy! We were getting pretty cranky near the end. The snow is nice but I only need it for a couple of days and then I'm through!

Grandpa and Little Megan

Grandpa and Megan came to visit us this past weekend! Caroline had the best time! The girls had a sleepover. They popped popcorn with Caroline's new popcorn machine and rented Despicable Me to watch before bedtime.

The car didn't have enough time to charge so the girls decided they would push Graham in it instead. They worked pretty hard and Graham loved it!

We took the kids to the park on Saturday. It was packed! I think the temp got up to 78. I couldn't keep up with the girls so I had Benjamin and Grandpa watch them while I followed Graham everywhere. He loved the park! He didn't care that much about playing on the equipment, he just wanted to run everywhere and watch the big kids.







The girls found the little creak that runs behind the park. They had a good time trying to skip rocks on the water.



Everybody is tired and ready to go eat. We ate at The Whole Hog. It is Benjamin and Grandpa's favorite place. We always eat there when they come to visit. We had a good weekend and can't wait for another visit!

New Sentence!

Graham said his first sentence today! He said "Uh oh ball". I was so proud! Then the next day he said "There it is". Ok, so all the words slurred together and I was probably the only person who knew that was what he said.....still, he said it! Yay Graham!

Outside Time!!!

Finally, some nice weather! No rain, snow, or 20 degree weather. The kids and I played outside for hours this afternoon. We walked, swung, played with the kitty, and rode four wheelers. Graham was so happy to be out!






This is our new little kitty. And yes, we still call it "little kitty". No named pets here. Our other kitty only comes to visit like once a month. This is the replacement kitty.
