Black Friday! Yikes!

We are crazy! I got up at 3:30 AM so that I could shop the Black Friday sales. Brenda went with me. We had to bring Graham since I am nursing and because I don't trust Ben to wake up ( he sleeps like the dead!). We got to the Conway walmart at 5:00. It was packed! There were no parking spaces so we had to park in another lot. We stood in line to check out for over an hour. I got everything I had on my list though! I was very excited. We had Megan at Target at the same time so she picked up my stuff I needed there and we did the same for her at walmart. After walmart we also went to Kohls, Belk, Target, Old Navy, and Best Buy! Graham slept in his backpack the entire time! He was an angel! He woke up to eat when we were checking out at the last store. I think we were home by 10:30! Everyone else was just waking up!

Thanksgiving!

I hosted my first Thanksgiving this year! I really appreciate my Grandmommy now, for all the Thanksgivings, Christmases, Easters, and birthdays that she did for the whole family. We had Ben's mom, sister, brother, aunt, and cousins over for the holiday. I cooked turkey, dressing, broccoli and rice casserole, swiss green bean, Donna's settler beans, and purple hull peas. Brenda and her sister also brought some food items. The cooking went fine, the clean-up was the hard part! My house is a mess and I have laundry piled everywhere! We had a great time though!

This is Caroline's Aunt Beka. They had a lot fun playing this week!
We did ahead and opened Christmas gifts with them at the same time. It's hard to get everyone together again in just a few weeks! Caroline was really confused about whether it was Thanksgiving or Christmas time!

Updates!

Graham finally started to pick up his head while laying down! I was starting to worry about it! He is not a big fan of "tummy time" yet. He usually just lays there and sucks on his hands!

This is Graham is his crib! I have started to put him there during the day to take naps. Maybe this will get him ready to sleep in it at night. FYI, he is sleeping until 5:30 in the morning now! I am very excited. He wakes up to eat then goes back to sleep until 8:30 or so. He is sleeping great at night! He doesn't take good naps during the day though. I guess I can handle that as long as I am getting good sleep at night!

Yucky shots!

This is Graham on the way to get his two month shots. He has no idea what is coming!

Poor Graham! They gave him three shots! He was fine for first couple of hours as you can see in the pictures. After that he cried every time moved his legs. They were so sore!

A Visit To Christie's!

The kids and I went to visit Christie, Matthew, and Natalie for a few days. Christie had the week off work so we just hung around and did some shopping. Caroline had a great time playing with kids and their new little puppies.

Graham loved Natalie! He smiled at her every time! I got some good pictures of him!

Graham rolled over from his tummy to his back while we were at Christie's! On this day Graham is two months old. He:

-has rolled over one way

-can smile in response

-loves to ride in his car seat
-wakes up only one or two times at night

-wants to be held all the time

-eats six ounces of breast milk at each feeding

-loves to swing outside when the weather's nice!

First Fire Of The Season!

Ilove sitting outside by the fire! Alex made us a fire in the pit the other night, which was kinda scary since the last time he built a fire he almost burned his face off!

We are just watching the men do the work!

Graham's Swing!

Yeah! Graham finally decided to like his swing! He sleeps pretty good at night most of the time, wakes up once to eat and can sleep that first stretch for 4-5 hours. I just have problems getting him to sleep during the day. We have to drive to town three days a week to pick up Caroline from school and I think he has gotten used to taking naps in his car seat. But, a couple of days ago he started to like swinging and how now been taking at least one, sometimes two naps a day in it! I can finally get some things done!

Hallowen

This Halloween we went trick-or-treating in Stamps! We stayed at Nana's house all weekend and had a lot of fun! Caroline was a fairy and Graham was a dragon.
