The Last Few Weeks

Here are some pictures and stories from the last couple of weeks.

This is Graham at the walking trail in Conway. We went with Megan and her two boys. Graham missed the whole thing. He slept through it all!

This is Baby Carter. He and Graham will be big buddies one day.
They are only two weeks apart in age.
The kids are actually being sweet to each other.
We are at Jack's 2nd birthday. Jack is Caroline's best friend.

This Caroline and Jack.
I took these pictures after church. I thought the kids looked so cute in their dressy clothes.

Caroline is painting in her princess book. After catching her wiping her hands on her dress we decided this was a good naked activity.

Graham has his first sippy cup. He took it with no problem.
He is getting to be such a big boy. It makes me a little sad.

Here are Graham and Carter playing outside at the farm.
Lookin' cool in their hats!

Graham's hat says "My First Fishing Hat". We got this at the Bass Pro Shop in Dallas. I am sure Ben will have him at the pond soon!
The bigger kids are busy playing with the cars and bikes.

Dallas Trip

Spring Break!
We went to Dallas with my family over Spring Break. We had planned to visit Six Flags on that Saturday but when it got closer to the weekend there was a high chance of rain all day. So....we got up at 5:00am on Friday and drove to Dallas in order to be able to fit in the amusement park. We got there about 2:00. Mom hung around with us all day at Six Flags. The kids were great! Caroline rode swings, boats, air planes, and even a small roller coaster. Graham rode in the backpack on me most of the time. We were exhausted by the end of the day. If you know me well, you know my kids are always in bed early, usually around 7:30. It was at least midnight before lights were out and they were ready! Graham actually fell asleep on my bed while I was holding him. He is very picky about his bed time and hardly ever falls asleep until the conditions are right and is a very lite sleeper (just like me).
The hotel that Mom got was great! It was very fancy and had sorts of things to do there. The rooms were very comfortable.
On Saturday we visited the Galleria Mall and the huge Bass Pro Shop. We wanted to eat at the Rain Forest cafe but by the time we got there the wait was over two hours and it was already 8:00pm. We let Caroline make a Build A Bear instead.
On Sunday we got up and headed straight home. We drove through snow for a couple of hours in Texas! It was crazy! We left Conway in short sleeves and did not pack for snow. The kids were great again on the way back. I have the best little travelers.

Here are the kids on the drive to Dallas.

We are waiting for the shuttle to come pick us up for Six Flags.
This is way Graham traveled for most the trip. He loved it!

Here is Caroline riding the tea cups with Nana.

Caroline didn't want a toy or a tee shirt for souvenir. She wanted a big tube to make her own sugar power candy. Great.

This is the first night at the hotel. We are getting ready for bed time at midnight.
Apparently the kids have their second wind.

Graham is starting to get a little sleepy.

This is the getup that Caroline wore to the mall. She can't leave without her shades, hat and purse. And she always has to wear a dress.
Here is Caroline making her puppy.
She named it Millie.

Graham is tucker out after shopping all day.
Isn't he so sweet!

This picture is taken from our window. When we woke up on Sunday there was snow on the ground. It wasn't a lot at first but it snow quite a bit more on the drive home.

St Patricks Day

These pictures are of the kids on St Patrick's Day. They are wearing their green clothes!
Caroline kept pinching me all day, don't think she really understood what was going on.

We went to Ed's Bakery that afternoon to get Caroline a green shamrock cookie. That's what is in the bag that she's holding up.
