Princesses Everywhere!

We went to the Disney Princesses On Ice Show last week. Megan and I took Jack and Caroline and left the little boys at home with their daddies. Caroline was so excited! This was ALL she talked about for days. When the show started she couldn't believe it! She told me, in an astonished whisper, "Mom, those are the REAL princesses!" After that she was bouncing off her seat and never stopped talking the entire time! It was so worth it to see her that happy!

Storms, storms, and more storms......

It has been so wet lately with all the storms! Two nights in a row I have had to wake the kids up to get in the closet because of tornado warnings! By the way, out here in Damascus there are no sirens or local channels! Plus, when it storms our satellite and phone service are sketchy. So we are pretty much in the dark, literally.

On the upside......the kids just had to play in the puddles! Graham had never done this before and had so much fun. Of course he was soaking by the time I got him inside.

Arrg!

Jack had his 3rd birthday party recently. The party was pirate theme. The kids really enjoyed playing with swords and pirate hats! Even Graham got into it!

This Graham and Carter eating birthday cake. The older kids were more interested in playing but not these boys. They didn't get down until their cake was gone!

Caroline and Jack and the best of friends. It's so funny to watch them play together. Caroline is usually bossing Jack around, making him the baby so that she can play "mother". He's a pretty good sport about it!

Happy Birthday Jack!

"Lil Aces"

Caroline had her first softball game last night. She has been going to practice for about a month and really enjoying it. For some reason she got really nervous about the actual game. She was the second batter and started tearing up when she put her helmet on. I am not above bribery. I told her if she would be brave and give it a try then we would go get ice cream cones at Baskin Robbins after. So she dried up her tears and stood by the plate...........

SHE HIT THE BALL!!!!!!!

Caroline was the star of the game! Only three girls got a hit and she was one of them. She was also the only one to get around the bases. No one else even got on base. She also played in the pitcher position and stop the couple of hits that came to her. She was soooo proud of herself! And now she can't wait for her next game.

This is when she got on first base! She was so happy!

The girls got pick their own numbers. All the other girls picked number like 2 or 5. Caroline picked 64? I don't know where that came from.

The only way I could keep Graham calm was to get him a bag of M&Ms. He made a nice mess.

Megan and Jack came to watch her first game. She was very excited that Jack was there to watch her.

We have a tournament this weekend in Heber Springs. We are all excited to see how the next game goes!
